How does it work:

PayIn

PayOut

What can you do with it?

Examples of how Inpay helps all types of business:

E-Commerce

  • An E-commerce merchant based in London has taken an order from a buyer in Brazil.
  • The buyer chooses to pay using a local bank transfer via his regular bank in São Paulo.
  • Inpay registers the sum being paid into the Inpay account in São Paolo and releases the equivalent sum from an account with the merchant’s bank in London.

Higher-Risk Markets

  • A merchant can see long-term opportunities in the Nigerian market, but can’t afford to take the risk of chargebacks and fraud when they take payments.
  • Using Inpay, the merchant only accepts payments through bank transfers, which means that payments will be coming from accounts that are vetted by the banks and subject to additional Inpay security.
  • By accessing the Nigerian market with reduced risk, margins can be improved and the merchant is able to capitalise on the benefits of being first to market.

Buyer Refunds

  • A shopper in Japan has ordered the wrong item from a Chinese retailer and has been granted a partial refund.
  • Inpay is instructed to pay the refund amount in local currency to the bank account of the shopper.
  • Because the transfer is made locally in the shopper’s own currency, administration and fees can be significantly reduced.

Efficient Payment Route

  • A UK charity is sending financial aid to several cities in East Africa.
  • Instead of establishing its own relationships with local banks or instructing a local agent on its behalf, the charity uses Inpay to send funds directly to the financial services used by local recipients.
  • By sending the transfer directly and securely, the integrity of funds is guaranteed and the exposure to Forex fluctuations is reduced.

Global Disbursements

  • An engineering company in Sydney, Australia needs to pay 25 different consultants in Chile, Germany and Russia, each in their local currency.
  • They deliver payment instructions to Inpay and transfer the funds to their local Inpay account in $AUD.
  • Inpay fulfils the payment instructions, releasing the appropriate sum in local currency at the most convenient Inpay account to each consultant.

Data Infrastructure & Security

Inpay have one of strongest and most robust IT infrastructures in the industry. Our infrastructure is redundant in all areas and associated with Denmark’s largest telecommunications nodes.

Inpay virtual servers are running on 3 physical Dell R620 hosts in N+1 redundancy, which are connected to Netgroup Enterprise VSP SAN. The network layer is based on redundant Cisco Nexus switches, while the FiberChannel layer is based on redundant Brocade switches. The environment is protected by 2x Cisco ASA firewalls in HA mode.

Physical equipment such as servers, SAN, routers and switches used for our virtual platform is placed in Netgroup’s tier III datacenter in Taastrup, Denmark which has the following features:

  • Based on APC InfraStruxure cube system with InRow cooling
  • Redundant cooling facilities
  • Water leakage detection systems
  • Fire and smoke detection and Argonite fire suppression systems
  • 24×7 surveillance with onsite technicians
  • Monitoring system for surveillance of cooling systems, power systems and surveillance cams.
  • Netgroup backup solution is based on IBM TSM and Veeam for virtual servers
